Robert B. Aylsworth, 80, of Wellington died Monday, July 25, 2011 at Metro Health Systems in Cleveland. Robert was born on October 9, 1930 in Mason Michigan to the late Robert E. and Lucille (nee Pahl) Aylsworth. He came to the Wellington area in 2001. Robert retired from Goodwill Industries as a manager. Robert served in the United States Navy. He was an active member of the AMVETS, serving post 40 as their treasurer for 30 years and district 20 as a Financial Officer. Robert was also a member of the Lake Co. Historical Society and the Lions Club. Robert was a bargain hunter and enjoyed going to auctions and garage sales. Robert is survived by his children Robert F. Aylsworth of Wellington, and Melbrina (John) Womble of Memphis TN. He is also survived by a brother Paul Aylsworth, sister Margaret (Frank) Slusser and a sister-in-law Barbara Aylsworth. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years Frances Aylsworth, a brother Martin John Aylsworth and a sister Marian. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on August 14 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 706 W. Flint Street (Davison Rd.), Davison. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be directed to a charity of the donors choice.
