IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert T.
Bennett, Jr.
April 16, 1959 – December 22, 2023
Robert T Bennett jr 4-16-59,64, of Wellington , passed away at home on 12/22 at 2:44 ( and as a numbers man he would be pleased by that sequence) after a brief battle with Glioblastoma brain cancer surrounded by his wife Karen, of 42 years and children.
Robert worked for the city of Cleveland as a lineman until September of 2005. He then spent his time enjoying his property - walking his dogs, planting his garden with his wife, and scavenging for rocks. His greatest accomplishment was his love of family. He was a wonderful father, who spent the majority of his time taking his children to parks to explore, torturing them with math equations, playing "steam roller" in the living room, and having them look up words in the dictionary. Although less than average lifespan, Robert did not lead a boring life. He traveled where he wanted to travel, learned what he wanted to learn, and fix what he wanted to fix.
As a papa, he continued by sharing his love of the outdoors; feeding chickens, riding four wheelers, playing in the creek and more. His pennypinching ways cease to exist when it came to them; teaching them to play poker with real money, or having them guess the amount of change in the jar.
Robert is survived by wife Karen ( Tomek) children Jessica, Dale ( Heather Vlk), Jonathan ( Roni Fulk), Rachel, Mollie Deidrick (Tim), and Faith Hastings ( Justin), 17 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 5 brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews. Robert was proceeded in death by his parents Robert and Doris Bennett, in laws Lawrence and Mary Tomek and great grandson Nyko.
His family will remember him at every beautiful sunset and the springs blooming daffodils. He will be greatly missed by all.
