Robert L. Clarke, age 79 of Greenwich, died Saturday, October 13,2007 at Willard Healthcare Center, after an extended illness. He was born March 14, 1928 in Ashland and had lived most of his life in the Greenwich area. Mr. Clarke had farmed and worked for the railroad. Survivors include, several children; 2 half brothers, Joseph (Jean) Hulme of Ashland and Richard (Norma) Hulme of Colorado Springs, Colorado; half sister, Grace (Charlie) Haaf of Riverview, FL; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and special care takers, Tom & Jean Ringler and Dale & Barb Brennan. He was preceded in death by biological parents, Lawrence & Lois (Reese) Hulme, Step-mother, Gwendolyn Hulme; legal guardians, Fred & Kathleen Clarke and numerous aunts & uncles. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2007at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 W. Main St., Greenwich. Pastor Georgette Gaston of the Greenwich Methodist Church will officiate and burial will follow in the Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery.
