IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Allen
Depottey
November 26, 1972 – November 30, 2025
Robert Allen "Bobby" DePottey Sr., age 53, of Plymouth passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Fisher Titus Medical Center in Norwalk. He was born on November 26, 1972 in Fremont. As a delivery driver for Bruno's, he was known and loved by all that he met.
A true outdoorsman, Bobby loved camping, fishing, arrowhead hunting, and gold mining. He was a member of the Gold Prospectors Association of America, GPAA, an organization which he was very proud of. Bobby was also open-minded and adventurous, as much as he enjoyed more typical outdoor expeditions; he also enjoyed lore of Bigfoot, UFO's and other legends.
When Bobby wasn't outside, you could find him relaxing and enjoying music or television. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed shows like Beavis and Butthead and Family Guy. He was also an avid Michigan sports fan, especially the Detroit Lions, Red Wings, Pistons, and Tigers. He loved to watch the game with family and friends. Ultimately, family was the most important thing in Bobby's life. He cherished the time that he spent with those he loved most and will be fondly remembered and missed by many.
Left to cherish Bobby's memory are his wife, Heather (Francis) whom he had been with for nearly twenty years; children, Robert "Bobby" (Saree) DePottey Jr. of Clyde, Taylor (Ryan) DePottey of Clyde, McKenzie (Thomas) DePottey of Brook Park, Skylar (Jonathon) Fisher of Wakeman, Jayden (Austin) Yuko of Painesville, and ErieAnna (Sean Saunders) DePottey of Plymouth. He had 18 grandchildren that he especially adored and was very proud of; Dakota, Bryson, Brayden, Ava, Audree, Jimmy, Conner, Chloee, Carter, Liam, Payton, Parker, Raylyn, Roseyln, Addylynn, Deklin, Ozzy, and Aniyah. He is also survived by his mother, Deborah (Witt); and siblings, Tammy Marek of Washington, Brian DePottey of Port Clinton, and Jamie DePottey of Port Clinton.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Robert H. DePottey; uncle, Steve DePottey; and Grandma and Grandpa Zilles.
