Robert L. Hein, 69, originally from Norwalk, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at The Willows at Willard. He was born on April 9, 1950, to the late Harmon and Catherine M. (Hannel) Hein in Norwalk, Ohio where he was a lifelong area resident. Robert enjoyed reading and he earned an associate degree from Tera Technical College in Fremont, Ohio.  He worked for GTE Company and Norwalk High School in 1968.

Robert is survived by his cousins, Joyce Ludban of Willard, Ohio, James (Jerri) Kline of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Thomas (Annalee) Kline of Franklin, Ohio.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no visitation and graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Riverside Cemetery, State Route 20, Monroeville, Ohio at 12:00 p.m. Pastor Ann Marshall of St. Peter Lutheran Church will officiate.  In light of COVID-19, guests are encouraged to use their own judgement and pay close attention to the latest federal and CDC guidelines regarding mass gatherings and best practices.
