Dr. Robert C. Hoffecker, 95, residing in Norwalk, passed away at home on Monday morning, May 30, 2022.

Dr. Hoffecker was born in Parkers Landing, PA, as the son of the late William and Lucille (Canby) Hoffecker. His career in Podiatry spanned more than 39 years in Norwalk. He received his pre-med at Edinboro and Syracuse University. He had his residency at Civic Hospital in Detroit and graduated from Ohio College of Podiatry. He was president of North Central Academy of Podiatry and later as secretary for the newly formed Central Academy. He served on the State long-range Committee for podiatry. In college he was a 3-time champion on the side horse, and he taught gymnastics to in-coming freshmen. He was a member of the Lions Club and Rotary Club. He proudly served his country during World War II as a member of the Merchant Marine's from 1944 to 1946, and later in the Army from 1950 to 1952.

Dr. Hoffecker is survived by his wife, Nancy; sons, Charles of Sunbury, OH, Jim of Norwalk; daughters, Susan Drawdy, Debra (Bill) Franzblau of San Diego, Tracey (Mike) Moyer of Milan; 10 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren on the way.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022, from 11 am until the time of funeral service at 12 pm at Norwalk United Methodist Church, 60 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857.
