Robert W. Jackson, 85, of Camden Township, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at the Elm's Retirement Village. Born on January 19, 1936 in Camden Township, he was the son of the late Hazel (nee Radcliff) and William Jackson. Robert was one of the last students to graduate from Camden High School.

For many years, Robert was a Camden Township Trustee, served as fair board director, was involved with the Lorain County Horse Council and volunteered at the Camden Township Fire Department. He was an avid animal lover, especially mules and going trail riding on mules. He also enjoyed hunting and being accompanied by his coon dog.

Left to treasure his memory is his loving wife, Delores (nee Durkee) Jackson; children, Sherry Lee (Jeff) of Oberlin, Dale Jackson of Wakeman and Brian Jackson (Barb Myers) of Camden; grandchildren, Cody (Amanda) Will, Theresa, Jennifer (Steve), Zachary, Nolan and Ava; siblings Wilma Ives and Eleanor French. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter in law, Louise Jackson.

A private service and burial has taken place at Camden Township Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Norton-Eastman Funeral Home.
