Robert F. 'Bob' Krisha, age 83, of New London, died Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Firelands in New London, after a long illness. Bob was born July 14, 1928 in Fitchville, son of the late, Joseph & Mary (Wolfe) Krisha. He was a life long resident of the area. Bob received his GED from Norwalk and attended Chicago Institute of Technology for 2 years. He worked for the former Jennings and Churella for 18 years and retired in 1988 as manager of construction and remodeling from Oberlin College. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bob is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marian (Dorian) Krisha; sons, Robert (Nan) of Wakeman and Steve (Gail) of Wakeman; 6 granchildren; 10 great and 3 great great. Also survived by sisters, Margaret Miller of Norwalk, Ruth Morrow of New London and Dorothy Krisha of Phoenix City, Alabama. He was preceded by infant son, James Edward; daughter, Debra Blymyer; sisters, Mae Tackacs and Lucille Biddinger; and brothers, John Blaha, Joseph Blaha, Yaro Blaha, Charles Blaha, Emil Krisha, Harry Krisha, Edward Krisha, Tom Krisha and Leonard Krisha. Friends may call 5-8 pm Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London, where funeral services will be held 1pm Wednesday. Rev.
