EASTMAN FUNERAL HOME 419-929-3781 Robert H. Maye, age 88, of Greenwich, passed away peacefully at home, Friday, morning, April 24, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 6, 1926 in Ivyton, Kentucky, son of the late Kenny Maye and Lillian (Whitaker) Erickson. Robert had worked at Akron Standard Mold in Greenwich. He loved his family, he loved animals and gardening. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Maudie "Mo" Maye; 3 sons, Jerry (Mary) Maye of Perrysville, David "Joe" Maye and Rodney (Rose) Maye all of Willard; 4 daughters, Deborah Bova and April Miner both of Columbus, Myra (Gary) Kennard of Perrysville, Mary (Marcus) Holtz of Norwalk; 17 grandchildren, numerous great and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Vivian Adams in 2009, Marla VanOrder in 2013, his brother, Gerald Dwane Maye. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015 until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St., Greenwich with Pastor Bob Hudberg officiating.
