Roberta (Bobbi) June Ronk, 87, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on May 28, 2026. She was born on February 5, 1939, in Greenwich, Ohio, to the late Brittanna “Brittie” (Westbrook) Jacobs and Richard Rheinbolt.
A longtime resident of Greenwich, Ohio, she attended Greenwich High School. While attending school, Bobbi worked at Simmons Drug Store in her hometown. She later worked at Pioneer Rubber and R.R. Donnelley & Sons in Willard, Ohio, then found her passion for serving the community as an EMT with North Central EMS and Tri Community Ambulance. She especially enjoyed working with local children at “Safety City.” In her spare time, Bobbi enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and sewing, and she loved sharing her handmade gifts with family and friends. Bobbi loved golf and played in a women’s league at Woody Ridge Golf Course in Shelby, Ohio. She was also an avid Cleveland Guardians fan, rarely missing a baseball game on television.
She was a member of Greenwich United Methodist Church and an active member of the Greenwich Area Historical Society. Bobbi devoted much of her life to the Pythian Sisters of Ohio, belonging to temples in Greenwich, Spencer, and Delaware. She held many titles, including Grand Chief of Ohio from 2007 to 2008 and Past Supreme Representative. Bobbi was also a member of the Nomads of Avrudaka, where she served as Most Gracious Maharani from 2023 to 2025. She belonged first to Amina Santha in Medina, Ohio, and later to El Taj Mahal Santha in Delaware, Ohio.
Bobbi is survived by her children, Clara Ronk, Earl Dane (Annette) Keiser, Teresa (Greg) Stewart, Marsha (Vincent) Visco, and David (Kellie) Ronk II.
She also leaves 11 grandchildren: Courtney (Ben) Clement, Cassidy (Marcus) Johnson, Hollie (Jamie) Conetta, Riley Stewart, McKenna Stewart, Brooke (Troy) Roller, Allison (Mark) O’Reilly, Lauren Walcher, Benjamin Warnike, Elise Dolbier, and Avery Ronk; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Bobbi is also survived by siblings Jerilyn (Jim) Gharing, Gloria (Don) Snook, Joseph (Cindy) Jacobs, Robert (Patti) Decker, many nieces and nephews, and special loved ones Cathy, Anthony and Taylor Robustellini
She is preceded in death by her husband David Ronk, infant daughter Kelly Rene Ardner, her sister Sandra Everetts, and brother Larry Rheinbolt.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff members and care partners at Harrison on 5th Senior Living community, BrightStar Care team, and the nurses, chaplain and support team at Capital City Hospice for the compassionate and wonderful care they provided Bobbi.
Friends and family may call from 4 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 W. Main St. Greenwich, OH 44837. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Greenwich United Methodist Church, 18 East Main St. Burial will follow at the Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research, an organization for which Bobbi, a breast cancer survivor of more than 30 years, spent many years raising funds.
