Roberta "Bobbi" Louise (Luteman) Vance, age 70, of Norwalk, died peacefully in her home on Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Roberta was born December 8, 1944 in Willard, Ohio, daughter of the late Margie Nalley and Robert Luteman. She grew up in the New London area, then moved to Blackfoot, Idaho. She lived in Idaho for 6 years and then moved to Buffalo, NY where she spent 8 years. Roberta moved back to Ohio and settled in Norwalk. She had worked for several years at Kent Sporting Goods, New London. She retired from Epic Technologies in Norwalk. She enjoyed playing cards and reading. Roberta loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Daniel Vance of New London, Micah Vance of Norwalk, Victoria Brock of Wakeman; her grandchildren, Robin Miller and Walker Brock; one great grandchild, Hunter Miller; her sisters, Joann Riley of Texas, Carlene Jones of North Carolina; her brothers, Mike Mitchell of Blackfoot, Idaho and Louie Luteman of Savannah, Ohio. She also leaves behind her beloved pet and companion Sam the cat. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Dixie VanAernam, Diana Cippolia, Eva Kooster, Connie Nalley, Wanda Hughs and her brother, Dale Luteman.
A Memorial Luncheon for friends and family will take place Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the New London Eagles. Eastman Funeral Home, New London assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at: www.eastmanfuneralhome.com
