Robin Ann Hopkins

Robin Ann (Burt) Hopkins, 72, of New London, OH died on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at the Norwalk Memorial Home. She was born on August 14, 1954 in Lodi, OH the daughter of James and Charlotte (Sigsbey) Burt.

She was a graduate of Firelands High School and during her youth she participated in the Lorain County 4-H program. She enjoyed showing lambs at the Lorain County Fair, where she won Grand Champion in her class of showmanship. Robin showed care and compassion throughout her life as a caregiver in the home health and assisted living field. Robin enjoyed nature and watching the birds, having her dogs as a four-legged companion. She collected nick knacks and coffee cups.

Robin is survived by her husband, Gary Hopkins Sr.; children, Gary Hopkins Jr., Todd Hopkins and Shawn Hopkins; grandchildren, Gabbriella Hopkins, Chad Hopkins, Andrew Hopkins, Jordan Carpenter and Austin Sansom; great-grandchildren, Skylar, Zander, Dayson, Cash and Colt; siblings, Mike (Debbie) Burt and Debbie Riley. In addition to her parents, Robin was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Jimmy Burt.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Grove Street Cemetery in New London.
