Norwalk, Ohio - Robin W. Schaffer, 58, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, November 5, 2015. He was born February 20, 1957 to the late Bernard and Mary (Brown) Schaffer, and was a lifelong resident of Norwalk. Robin was known for his quiet nature, work ethic, and dependability. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, and his wife's cooking and baking. Robin will be greatly missed by his wife of 28 years, Alisa, his daughters, Melissa (Michael) LaBarbera of Cleveland, Ohio, and Ashley (Andrew) Koch of Bellevue, and by his step-son, Jeremy Kiser of Franklin, PA. Robin's grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he looked forward to the birth of another granddaughter this February. Grandchildren include Colton and Kameron Koch of Bellevue, and Taylor and Olivia Kiser of Franklin, PA. Colton and Kameron will have many memories of their Papa to share with their baby sister. Robin is also survived by his siblings, Chris (Jean) Schaffer, Jeff (Elaine) Schaffer, Cindy (Dewey) Varney, Maria (Paul) Temple, Bernadette Seitz, and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, where funeral services will be held on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. Pastor Bob Hudberg will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk, Ohio.
