Ronald 'Skin' Bohland, age 57 of Ashland, died Sunday, January 31, 2010 at Med-Central in Mansfield. He was born June 26, 1952 in Ashland and had lived in Nova until moving to Ashland in 2005.
Ronald was a 1970 graduate of Mapleton High School. He loved sports and had coached girl's basketball for Mapleton and Ashland High Schools. He worked for National Latex, Sarver Paving and worked quality control for ODOT all of Ashland. He was a member of the Nova United Methodist Church; BPO Elks #1360 of Ashland; Ashland Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Black River Full Backers Club.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 4 years, Sue (Harris) Bohland; a daughter, Stephanie (Jeremy) Vogel of Cleveland; 2 grandsons, Lucas and Brody Vogel; his mother, Louise Bohland of Nova; a step daughter, Kristine Miller; and 4 step grandchildren, Becca Schreiber, Deziel Miller, Danica Miller and Danessa Miller. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald in 2005.
Funeral services will be held 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London, where friends may call that day from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Brother Harry Finkbone of the Nova United Methodist Church will officiate. Memorials if desired may be given to donor's favorite charity.
