IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Roseann
Miller
April 25, 1951 – December 7, 2023
Roseann Miller, age 72, of New London died on Thursday, December 7, 2023 surrounded by her loving family at Fisher Titus Medical Center in Norwalk. Born April 25, 1951 to the late Zadok Bennett and Rose Marie (Kalasz) St. John in Ypsilati, Michigan, she had grown up in Belleville, Michigan. Eventually she would move to Ohio, settling in New London in the mid 1990's where she would make her home and raise her family.
A carefree spirit, Roseann was not afraid to have a little fun. While working for Dairy Mart and Ames Department Stores she loved to make amusing, and very interesting announcements over the PA system. She was known for her neon wardrobe and bright personality which made her stand out in any crowd, kickin' it Pooh Bear style.
Her fondness for bright colors extended into her love of gardening, as she had many beautiful flowers and gardens around her home. Caring for her plants, as well as the goats, cows, dogs, chickens, and barn cats she raised was something that brought Roseann immense joy. When she wasn't gardening or tending to the animals, Roseann liked to spend her days thrifting; she made collecting stuff into an art form. However, the most important thing to Roseann was her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, and sister who cherished the time she was able to spend with those she loved most.
Left to cherish her memory are Roseann's children, Theresa (Jeff) Akers, Donna Woody, Charles C. Miller, Jr., Stacy (Ron) Thacker, Elizabeth (Jason) Weaver, and April (Aaron) Woody; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; her mother-in-law, Helene Miller; brother Mark (Cindi) St.John, and sister-in-law, Wonedith "Bunny" Miller, as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Roseann was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Miller; brother, Frank St. John; father-in-law Arthur Miller; and great-granddaughter Chloe Ann Thacker.
