Rosemary Elizabeth Hansen, 86 of Norwalk, passed on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, surrounded by family.

Born December 11, 1935, in New London, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Ona Stober. Rosemary was a graduate of New London High School.

Rosemary was an excellent seamstress, using her skills working for Hills Interiors for 37 years. She also enjoyed gardening, her German Shepherds, and traveling vacations with her husband of 64 years, George R. Hansen. Her family has many happy memories of gathering together and sharing her delicious pies.

She was a member of many organizations, including band and academic boosters, the Model T Club Bumps and Grinds of North Ridgeville, the Huron County Humane Society, Bronson Conservation League, the New London Historical Society, and the Firelands Historical Society. Rosemary also served as a volunteer at the Fisher Titus Auxiliary gift shop for many years.

She is survived by her children, Linda (Steve) Hansen Graybill of Findlay and Major George E. Hansen of Williamsburg, Virginia; three grandchildren, Kristin (Wali) Graybill Baluch, Jessica (Kyle) Hansen Dixon, and Candace Hansen; six great-grandchildren, Zion Baluch, Zoe Dixon, Jennifer Dixon, Alivia Dixon, George Pahl and Harrison Hitchcock. She is also survived by her sister Sandra (Pat Sr.) Stober Ryan, her nephews Daniel Stober, Pat Jr. Ryan, Cliff Ryan, and other nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. (noon), with funeral services beginning at noon, at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London. Burial will follow in Hester Cemetery, Bronson Township, Ohio.
