Obituary

Roy "Red" Hall, 87, of New London passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020.    He was born January 10, 1933 in Kentucky.  Roy moved to New London where he has been a lifelong resident.    Roy served in the United States Army during the Korean War.   He was a lifelong truck driver retiring from Gregg Express.

He enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians and the University of Kentucky basketball team.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Peggy (Spurlock) Hall;  his daughters, Denise (Eric) Essenmacher of Wellington and Debbie (Joel Cleary) Herrington of New London; his grandson, Kevin Neel of Cleveland; many nieces and nephews.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Grant and Ida Hall, his siblings, Blaine Hall, Lill Bernak, Berlie Martin, Girdell Martin, Hazel Hunt and Sammy Lou Fletcher.

Per Roy's wishes a private graveside service at Grove Street Cemetery will take place at a later date.   Eastman Funeral Home, New London assisted the family with arrangements.   Online condolences may be made at :  www.eastmanfuneralhome.com
