Samuel Santiago, 68, of Norwalk, Ohio, died on January 26, 2025, at Twilight Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation in Norwalk.  He was born on April 27, 1956, in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Federico and Martina (IldeFonso) Santiago.

Samuel was a loving father, with a beautiful smile, who was funny and strict when he needed to be.  He was a hard-working man and talented landscaper.  He enjoyed getting dressed up and cooking.  Samuel's departure leaves a great void in the hearts of his family, but they cling to the promise of their heavenly Father, that one day they will meet again.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Maria Del C. Garcia Nazario; children, Maria V. Navarro and Samuel I. Santiago; siblings, Efraim Santiago, Josue Santiago, Ralph Santiago, Rebecca Rodriguez, Sarai George, Federico Santiago, El Siempre Santiago, and Joel Santiago; grandchildren, Jose Navarro, Melanie Brown, Leslie M. Santiago, and Giovanni Santiago.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother in-law, Ana Nazario, and son in-law, Jesus Navarro.

Friends and family are invited to his visitation on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W.
