Sandra A. Jones, 78, of Greenwich, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Mercy Hospital Willard. Born September 2, 1940 at the family home in Milan, Ohio, to the late Charles and Anna Mae (Rosekelley) Rhinemiller. She attended Edison High School and graduated from the Ohio State University and Ashland University with a master's degree in education. She moved to Greenwich in 1960 and was a teacher at South Central Schools for many years. Sandra was a lifetime member of the Greenwich Historical Society and member of the Greenwich Reading Circle. She had been a 4-H advisor. She enjoyed reading, watching TV and movies. Many knew her as voracious movie buff. Survivors include by her son, Chris Jones of Galion; daughter, Julie Jones of Nashville, Tennessee and longtime caregiver, Dori Glasser. In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney A. Jones. Per Sandra's wishes, she was cremated and no calling hours will be observed.
