Sandra Grosswiler, 84, of Norwalk, passed away from a lengthy illness, Monday evening, October 10, 2022, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Sandra was born on April 26, 1938, in Flushing, OH to the late Albert and Virginia (Renner) Dunn.

Sandra attended Littleton High School in West Virginia and St. Paul High School. On September 8, 1956, she married the love of her life, John P. Grosswiler, Sr.

Sandra enjoyed playing bingo, cards, and going to garage sales. She especially loved her Elvis Presley collection. She worked at Hamilton Beach for 7 years and was a supervisor at Industrial Powder Coating for 27 years until she retired. She was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church. Sandra was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Sandra is survived by her 4 children, Kendall (Kadria) Grosswiler of Norwalk, Tammy (Dale) Hauler of North Fairfield, Terry (Suzanne) Grosswiler of Fitchville, and Jeanine Gadd of Sandusky; siblings, Bernard Dunn, Joyce Zendejas, and Pat Grosswiler, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Grosswiler, Sr., who passed earlier in 2022; son, John P. Grosswiler, Jr., and siblings, Elaine Miller, Ilene Goodrum, Kathleen Riggs, Karen Lombatis, Joy Lynn Lockwood, Terry Lockwood, Bonnie Becker, Albert Dunn, Kermit Dunn, and Ted Dunn.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 4 pm to 8 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, at 10:30 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857. The burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.
