Newark, Ohio - Sandra J. Garner, 73, passed away peacefully, in her home, with her family by her side, on Thursday, May 19, 2016. She was born to the late Wanda L. and Harold Valentine in Cambridge, Ohio. Sandra worked for many years with her husband as a secretary in the Real Estate and Auction business. She enjoyed, most of all, spending time with her grandchildren, and her family, she also enjoyed working in the yard, and eating out at local area diners and dives. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Dick Garner, by her daughters, Gina Francisco (Jeff Herner), of Sandusky, Ohio, and Tonia M. Garner (Michael Croxal II) of Johnstown, Ohio. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Cassi (Mark) Brown, of Sandusky, Ohio, Logan Francisco (Madeline Fening), of Austin, Texas, Levi (Shannon) Pflieger, Bryce (Lashonda) Pflieger, Cody (Liz) Pflieger, and Chelsea (Anthony) Pflieger, all of Centerburg, Ohio, by Blaine Pflieger, Taylor Pflieger, Seth Garner, and Michael Croxal III, all of Johnstown, Ohio, by 11 great grandchildren and by her brothers, Virgil (Jeannie) Valentine, and Terry (Sherry) Valentine. Sandra was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Shelby Pflieger in 1993.
