Sandra J. Grose

August 21, 1959 – January 23, 2022

Sandra J. Grose, 62, of Norwalk, OH went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Sandy was born on August 21, 1959, in Norwalk, OH to the late Walter and Shirley Wilcox. She married the love of her life, Bruce Grose, on October 8, 1977, and had the best 44 years together. Sandra was employed at Discount Drug Mart for 25 years before she retired in April of 2021.

Sandy was an avid collector of blue glass. If you ever visited her house, you already knew that. It was hard to find a piece she didn't have. She was most proud of her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. They meant the world to her, as Sandy meant the world to lots of friends who became family along the way. So many people called her mom.

Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Bruce E. Grose; her two children, Kyle Grose of Norwalk and Amy (Tony) Williams of Sandusky; 5 grandchildren, Alysa Williams, Keegan Grose, Aiden Williams, Trevor Williams and Kasen Grose; brothers, Ronald (Kim Wiggerly) Wilcox of Sandusky and Donald (Rhonda) Wilcox of Bellevue and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving relatives.

Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Shirley Wilcox and granddaughter, Gabby Dean.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022, from 12 pm until the time of funeral service at 2 pm at Norwalk Alliance Church, 2755 US-250 Norwalk, OH 44857. Pastor Kevin Seager will officiate. Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
