Sarah Grace "Sally" Potts passed away Monday after brief battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. Sally was born in 1937 in Fitchville, Ohio. She is survived by her husband, Nathan and was married for 62 years. Surviving kids are Jill (Mike) Marsh of New London, Brad (Margo) Potts of Medina, Judy Carrocci of New London and Bender (Penny) Potts of Rochester; nine grandchildren, Derrick and Josh Marsh, Melissa Wilson, Benjamin and Mallory Potts, John and Alecia Carrocci, Holly Barker; ten great grandchildren; sisters, Connie Midolo, Wilma Frate and sisters-in-law, Joyce Tulk and Dollie Fedorka. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Daisy (nee Shipman) Marett; in-laws, Bender and Velma Potts and grandson, Jason Potts. Sally worked as a secretary at New London Elementary School and retired after 20 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her family and hosting Sunday dinners at the house. She and Nathan spent many years on their boat at Catawba Island and condo in Fort Myers, Florida. She was a past member of the New London garden club and enjoyed playing organ at the Fitchville United Methodist Church. A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. service on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Eastman Funeral Home, New London with Pastor Timothy McCollum officiating.
