Scott Asmus

Scott Asmus, born on November 7, 1963 and died on 7/31/2026 after a lengthy illness. Scott follows his sister, Teri Laich to the kingdom of God just 8 days after her passing. Scott was a man of many trades and strong skills, his favorite being carpentry. He was so proud of what he could build! Scott was always willing to lend a hand when he was able, loved country music and hanging with friends. He had a best buddy, his grandson, Jasper, he loved his papa so much. Called Scotty by his family, he was a huge NASCAR fan and we remember his ‘need for speed’ he loved fast cars, trucks, and dirt bikes as a teen.

Scott is survived by his loving mother, Pat Asmus, his father, Paul (Leanne) Asmus, his sister Kelli Asmus, nephew Josh Asmus (Jen), niece Amanda Asmus and her son, Beckett, Brother-in-law Marty Laich, nephew Tyler Smith (Megan), niece Shelby Lambert (Robert Krainovich) and their children, Colton, Noelle, and Layla. He is also survived by special friends, aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of life will be announced when arrangements are made.
