Scott Gerald Byron, 56, of North Ridgeville, died Wednesday, June 23, 2021. Born on February 26, 1965 in New London, he was the son of Steven and Susan (nee Grilley) Byron. Scott was a 1983 Graduate of Firelands High School. Scott lived in Lorain County for most of his life except for a 4 years stent in California.

Scott worked as a machinist for many years. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed learning any trivia or stats in baseball. Scott was also a music and movie fan with an extensive collection of both. Most of all he cherished time with his family and those who knew him will remember his laugh and his sense of humor.

Survivors include his parents, Steven and Susan Byron, of Kipton; sisters Michelle (Sam) Byron-Butler, of Wellington, and Cinthia (Joseph) Byron-Dixon, of Oberlin; nieces Joella and Jeriel Byron-Dixon, and nephews Cannon Byron-Dixon and Kyle Byron-Butler. Scott was preceded in death by an infant brother Eric Byron.
