Scott Dean Cole, 36, a lifelong Wellington resident, died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at home. Born on May 7, 1982 in Oberlin, he was the son of Gilbert and Emily (nee Bates) Cole. Scott was an active member of AA and other recovery programs, where he helped many people. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, drag racing, and mudding. Survivors include his parents, Gilbert and Emily Cole; his wife Elaine; his son Dean and daughters, Brianna and Makayla; sister, Sarah (Tim) McGovern; nieces, Arianna and Zoey McGovern and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
