Scott J. Ward, age 49, of Collins, died Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center after a short illness. He was born March 6, 1960 in Elyria to the late Arthur and Vivian (nee Campbell) Ward. Scott grew up in the Wellington area. He worked in construction as a self employed contractor. Scott enjoyed nascar, hunting, dogs and grandchildren. Survivors include his companion in life, Kimberly Kerns of Collins; step children, Nicole Wilson of Norwalk and Ronald Wilson of Miamisburg; brother, Aubrey Ward; and 2 nieces, Samantha and Cayan Ward of North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Neal Ward. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
