North Fairfield, Ohio - Sgt. Major, Retired, Heather J. (Knoll) Warren, 55, of Lakeway, Texas, and formerly of North Fairfield, Ohio, passed away July 2, 2018, in her home. She was born February 7, 1963, and was a 1981 graduate of South Central High School, where she was a member of the F.F.A. Heather was also a former member of 4H. She served in the U.S. Army for 26 years. Heather enjoyed hiking, skiing, and running. She is survived by her husband, John Warren, by her mother, Marilyn Knoll of Norwalk, Ohio, by her siblings, Jeffrey (Diana) Knoll of Glenshaw, Pennsylvania, Scott (Lisa) Knoll of North Fairfield, Ohio, Bruce (Gail) Knoll of North Fairfield, Ohio, Tim (Mindy) Knoll of North Fairfield, Ohio, and Jill Knoll of Norwalk, Ohio, by her step son, Christopher Warren, and by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Heather was preceded in death by her father, David P. Knoll in 2012, and by her step son, Alex Warren. Friends may call on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Dr. Brian Oglesbee will officiate.
