Sharon Irene Langdon, 60, of Wellington, died Friday, January 21, 2011. Born in Cleveland on July 30, 1950 to Robert and Faye Demos, Sharon lived in Elyria for several years and was a graduate of Elyria High School. Sharon worked at Main Street Mercantile in Oberlin and Geyers Supermarket in Wellington. A member of the Wellington Eagles and the American Legion Post 8, Sharon also enjoyed gardening, traveling, camping and spending time outdoors. She treasured spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Ray E. Chapman of Black Water, VA, Amanda (Daniel Farnsworth) Riggs of Sullivan; stepchildren, Tinaka Lewis of Marblehead, Raymond (Tabitha) Langdon of Elyria, Abraham Langdon of Wellington, Adam (Rochelle) Langdon of Marblehead and Timothy (Emerald) Langdon of Oberlin; 14 grandchildren and a great grandchild. Sharon is also survived by her siblings, Pat (Don) Gede of Henrietta Twp., Suzanne (Gene) May of Arlington, VA, Ron (Diane) Demos of Huron, Alan (Dorothy) Demos of Wooster and stepsisters, Danielle Near and Tammy Baldwin, both of FL. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Langdon, whom she married on October 10, 1992 and her stepfather, Robert Henry. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 25 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington, where the funeral will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Brian Burke officiating. Burial will be held at Penfield Cemetery.
