Sharon L. Mounts, 69, of Wellington died Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at Mercy Allen Hospital in Oberlin. She was born on December 27, 1944 in Harbor Beach, MI, to the late Durell and Elitha (nee Rankie) Stokan. Sharon was a 1962 graduate of Bad Axe High School in Michigan. She later moved to the Cleveland area with her family and finally settled in Wellington in 1997. Sharon enjoyed bowling and was a passionate NASCAR fan. She would cheer on her favorite drivers Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Sharon is survived by her husband of 51 years, Raymond Mounts; her son, Todd (Bernadette) Mounts of Wellington; grandchildren, Alecia O'Hara, Jacob Handlovic, Chrystal Aden, Alayna Mounts, and Andrea Mounts; great grand children, Christopher Mechling, Spencer Aden, Bently Mounts, and Matthew Wilbond III; and a brother, Thomas Stokan of MD. Friends and family will be received on Monday October 20, from 6-8 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main St., Wellington, where services will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
