Sharon M. Norton, 59, of Wellington, died at home surrounded by her family on Monday, September 21, 2020. Born on June 7, 1961 in Oberlin, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Shirley Sikora. Sharon was a lifelong Wellington resident and a graduate of Wellington High School.

Sharon enjoyed crafting, including making jewelry, custom cards, and cooking and baking. She attended the 1st Baptist Church in Wellington for several years. Most of all Sharon loved time with her family especially her grandchildren and siblings. She always looked forward to the family gatherings and was one of the forces behind getting the family together.

Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Perry Norton; children Perry Norton, Jr, of Fort Collins, CO, Joseph (Katie) Norris, of Elyria, and Alicia Norton, of Wellington; grandchildren Alizay and Gabryella Norris, Kiley Smith, Brookelynn and Brayden Stevens; siblings James (Shirley) Sikora, Louise (Alan) Pasadyn, Christopher (Teresa) Sikora, Rebecca (Roy) Shonkwiler, and Victoria Sikora.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, September 24, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main, Wellington. A private family service will be held and will be available for the public to watch as a webcast starting at 11 a.m. at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com. We ask that all attendants observe social distancing guidelines, and for the safety of all, masks are to be worn.
