Sharon D. DeWitt, 80, of Greenwich died on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at the Willows at Willard.  She was born November 17, 1942, in Greenwich to the late Naomi (Wolfe) and Robert Pettit.  Mrs. DeWitt was a graduate of Greenwich High School, class of 1960 and later years she served on the South Central School Board as vice president.  She enjoyed gardening and feeding birds.

Mrs. DeWitt is survived by her 3 sons, Bradley DeWitt of Willard, Matthew DeWitt of Katy, TX and Mark DeWitt of Greenwich; 7 grandchildren, Adam, Natasha, Travis, Ellisha, Logan, Haley, Taylor; 16 great grandchildren; 2 siblings, Richard Pettit of Greenwich and Donald Pettit of Syracuse, NY.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 51 years, David J. DeWitt who preceded her in 2012 and brother, Thomas Pettit.
