Obituary

Sharon D. Roeder, age 66, of New London, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky after a lengthy illness. She was a life long resident of the Clarksfield and New London areas. Sharon attended the New London High School. She loved to spend time with her family. Sharon took great enjoyment in taking care of her yard and flowers; she especially loved feeding her hummingbirds. Sharon also enjoyed providing for the wildlife, traveling and camping, cross-stitch and crocheting. She was an avid Indians and Cavaliers fan. Survivors include her mother Genevieve Lucal of Wellington; daughter, Andrea Young; 2 sons, Jeff (Carol) Puder of New London and Bryan Puder of Clarksfield; stepdaughter, Anne Roeder of San Diego, CA; two stepsons, Steve (Laura) Roeder of New London and Eric (Angie) Roeder of Kansas City; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and her cherished dog Jake. Sharon is also survived by siblings, Terry Lucal of Wooster and Tami Ortner of Wellington. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Roeder, father, Conrad Lucal, son, Eric Puder and grandson, Jason Puder. Visitation from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, April 24 at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
