Sheila Tidd, age 55, of Spencer, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 13, 2014. She was born June 21, 1958 to Harold and Esta (nee Sears) Ward in Fitzpatrick, West Virginia. Sheila cherished her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and her beloved granddaughter Sophia. She worked as a nurse's aide, cook at Black River High School, and as a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years, Rex Tidd; their children, Joseph and Brittany; brothers, Jesse, David and Mark; sisters, Linda, Laura and Becky; and granddaughter Sophia. She was preceded in death by her father Harold and sisters Bev and Nadine. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the time of service at 11:30 am on Thursday, February 20th at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. Burial will follow in Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery at 1:45 pm. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of Norton-Eastman Funeral Home.
