Sherrie N. Gibson, of North Baltimore, Ohio, died unexpectedly on January 20, 2024, at the age of 35.  Born on January 26, 1988, in Oberlin, Ohio, to Benjamin and Vanessa (Gregory) Gibson, Sherrie was a 2007 New London High School graduate.

She was a diligent worker and skilled forklift operator.  Sherrie was very caring and loved animals, anything from dogs to cows and especially horses.  Always one willing to lend a hand, she overcame many obstacles and challenges in her life and tried to help others in similar situations.  She truly loved her family and friends.

Sherrie is survived by her fiancée, Dee Ward; parents, Benjamin and Vanessa (Gregory) Gibson and several cousins.  She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Tub and Victoria Gregory; paternal grandfather, Carl Gibson; uncle, Jodie Gregory; and aunt, Vicky L. Schafer.

Friends and family are invited to her visitation on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London, from 12 p.m. (noon) until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m.  Pastor Doug Lang will officiate the service.
