Shirley R. Bonnell, of Spencer, died Thursday , June 17, 2010, at Akron General Hospital. Shirley was born January 24, 1937 in Spencer to the late Fane and Ruth Leiby. Shirley worked for Forest City in Wellington for over 30 years. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with them. Shirley also enjoyed Crossword puzzles, and crocheting. Shirley is survived by her three children, Duane Leiby of Congress, Tina Leiby of Spencer, and Tonya Bonnell of Medina; she is also survived by grandchildren Jennifer Leiby, Stephany Leiby and Ayden Bonnell. Shirley is preceded in death by a sister Carol, a son Jeff, and a grandson Jeffrey. Services will be held Monday, June 28, 2010, at the Spencer First Baptist Church, 302 West Main Street, Spencer, with a memorial service starting at 2 p.m. Rev. Reid Firestone will officiate. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be sent towards funeral expenses, care of Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington, 44090.
