Shirley A. Cook, 84, of Norwalk, Ohio, died on November 23, 2020. She was born on January 24, 1936 to the late Florence and Joseph Wilbur Meyer.

She was raised in Bellevue, and as a young woman, Shirley moved to many Air Force Bases across the country. Shirley worked in the Seminole County Records Office in Florida until her retirement when she moved to New Mexico and then settled in Norwalk, Ohio. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Ohio and Florida where she served as the youth choir director. Shirley enjoyed crafts, sewing, and singing in choir.

Shirley is survived her sister, Vivian Jett, of Huron, Ohio; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her son, Bernard (Judy) Cook; and siblings, Doris Ovall, Eilleen Popke, Margery Rhoades, Dorothy Riedy, Phyllis Howard, Evelyn Glum, Wilbur Meyer, and Gordon Meyer.
