Shirley L. (Hite) Beebe, who recently celebrated her 90th birthday, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Norwalk Memorial Home.  She was born on September 5, 1934, in East Chicago, Indiana, to the late Glenn and Cora M. (Hawk) Hite.  She was a 1953 graduate of Willard High School, where she was a cheerleader.

Shirley enjoyed playing cards, cooking, and making pies, and loved her cats.  She was a dental assistant early in her career and later a school cook at Plymouth.  She was a member of the Eastern Star and West Hartland Church and had helped with her son's business, Midget Motors, where she answered phones, assisted with sales, and made several friends.

Shirley is survived by her son, Michael (Susan) Beebe; grandchildren, Matthew Beebe, Joshua (Caitlin) Beebe, and Zachary Naji and 2 great grandsons, Jack and Christopher Beebe.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Marvin and daughter, Victoria.

Friends and family are invited to Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St. Norwalk, Ohio, on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 12 p.m. (noon) until the time of the 2 p.m. service with Pastor Steve Engle officiating.  Burial will follow the 2 p.m. service in Centerton Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be directed to Southern Care Hospice, 9501 US Hwy 250 N.
