Shirley Mae Leimbach, 80, of Wakeman, died in her sleep the morning of December 7, 2010 at her home. She was born December 8, 1929 in Akron to the late Edmund R and Ida Mae (Cole) Franklin. Shirley grew up in New London and lived in Wakeman until 1972 when she moved to Pasadena, CA, she moved back to Wakeman in 1993. Shirley graduated from New London High School in 1947. She married Russ Leimbach May 8, 1948. Shirley and Russ have 3 children, Rick (Linda) Leimbach of Sheffield Lake, Susan (Robin) Webber of Sun City, CA and Bruce (Dana) Leimbach of New London; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Stan (Marilyn) Franklin of New London and Sterling (Lyudmila) Franklin of Huron. She is survived by her husband Russ all their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and brothers. Shirley fellowshipped with the Kipton Community Church. Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, December 10, 2010 at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Kipton Community Church, 511 Church Street, Kipton with Pastors Lee Stull and Charles Livermore officiating. Burial will follow at Clarksfield Methodist Cemetery.
