Stacey A. (McGinn) Boyd

February 1, 1987 – March 23, 2022

Stacey A. (McGinn) Boyd, 35, passed away on March 23rd, 2022, after she bravely fought a 3-year battle with cancer. Stacey passed away at Gaymont Nursing Center where she was surrounded by her loved ones.

Stacey graduated from Monroeville High School in 2005, where she began working hard for the following years to provide for her 2 sons, Jayden, and Jarren. In 2008 Stacey met the love of her life, Martegas Boyd, who she had a loving relationship with. They had their beautiful daughter Malaiya, and 2 years later, got married.

Stacey has a younger sister, Trisha, who she had a very close bond with. They loved doing Just Dance, singing Glee and Dixie Chicks songs and doing karaoke together. Stacey loved being with family and friends. She was always so full of life and really the life of the party anywhere she went. If you knew Stacey, you knew that her biggest obsession was The Golden Girls. Stacey was an amazing mother, daughter, sister, wife and friend. Stacey took pride in everything she did and never went without a smile on her face.

Stacey is survived by her husband, Martegas (Taggie) Boyd; her two sons, Jayden McLendon, and Jarren McLendon; her daughter, Malaiya Boyd; stepdaughter, Avriona Boyd; her sister, Trisha Beck; her mother, Lori (Craig) Sargeant; her father, David (Laura) Orozco; and her dad, Tom (Mickey) Beck.

Stacey is preceded in death by her grandparents, Peggy and Ted McGinn, grandparents, Gloria and Jim Beck, uncles Don Beck, and Jeffery McGinn.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, from 3 pm to 7 pm at The Chapel – Norwalk Campus, 156 S. Norwalk Road E, Norwalk, OH 44857. Memorial service will be Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 10 am at The Chapel. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Monroeville.
