Stanley Webster Sheppard, 60, of Lavonia, GA, went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday night, March 9, 2012 after an extended illness. He was born in Norwalk, to David and Ester Sheppard on August 14, 1951. He was an over the road truck driver and owned, Stanley Sheppard Trucking Service. Stanley served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. Survived by wife, Tamara (Martin) Sheppard; children: Angel C. (Brian) Magness, Gered B. (Jennifer) Sheppard, and Rustinia S. (David) Downing; stepchildren, Tiffany Barkdoll Shawn, and Tara Thompson; siblings, Elissa Biller, Leslie (Jessie) Sheppard , Carissa Baazt, Midge Sheppard, Cassandra (Bobby) Hyde, and Elaine (Eric) Cline and eighteen grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Dawn Ghrist Sheppard; brother, Russell Sheppard; daughter, Jeanine Hardy and grandson, Robert Cook. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
