"Stan" Tester

Stanley A. "Stan" Tester, 84, of North Fairfield, passed away early Tuesday morning, December 14, 2021 at his home.
Stan was born on April 5, 1937 in New London, OH to the late James and Mary (Byron) Tester.
Stan was a 1955 graduate of New London High School. He was a member of the Ohio National Guard for 7 years, serving in Companies G & A, 145th Infantry Regiment. Stan was a lifelong farmer and a dedicated, skilled laborer for Tenneco for 42 and a half years. He was a member of the Victory Baptist Church. Stan was a very hard worker and enjoyed being outdoors. He was an avid reader and had a great appreciation for history.
Stan is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Steele) Barnhart Tester, whom he married on January 1, 2003; children, Teresa (Bruce) Brudzinski of Pickerington, OH, Tracy (Bob) Miller of Wakeman, OH, Trent (Julie) Tester of New London; step-children, Steven V. (Lois) Barnhart of North Fairfield, Cindy (Rory) Moser of Florida and Candee (John) White of Florida; 16 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Donna (Don) Graves of Oklahoma and Carol (Ned) Wikel of Swanton, OH; sister-in-law, Shirley (Bob) Eckert of Norwalk; brother-in-law, Keith Kline of Norwalk and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rolland and Shirley Burton of New London.
In addition to his parents, Stan was preceded in death by his first wife, Jeanne Burton, whom passed in 1998; step-son, Gerald D. Barnhart and sister-in-law, Lois Steele.
A visitation will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857. A funeral will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 10:30 am at Victory Baptist Church, 132 Gallup Avenue, Norwalk, OH 44857. Burial will follow at Fitchville Cemetery.
