Stephanie Ann Smith, 77 of Norwalk, Ohio, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 in Norwalk Memorial Home. She was born on January 15, 1943, to the late S. Henry and Maude (Eaton) Smith in Norwalk, Ohio and was a lifelong area resident.

Stephanie graduated from Norwalk High School in 1961 and earned a bachelor's degree from Ashland College in 1967. She was a 55+ year member of the Norwalk United Methodist Church, and member of the United Methodist Women.  She was a former art teacher in the Galion School system, and a counselor at Marymount Convent in Garfield Heights, teaching mentally disabled adults.  Stephanie also worked as a counselor and case manager for the United Cerebral Palsy association.

Stephanie is survived by several cousins. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Norwalk First United Methodist Church, Rev. Dr. Brian Oglesbee will officiate. Inurnment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
