Steve Anderson,69, of Spencer, died Thursday, November 21, 2014. He was born on June 9, 1945 in Clarksburg WV. Steve moved to Ohio shortly after he graduated from High School. Steve worked for Refiners Transport out of Cleveland, then Copley. When his company closed in 1996 he went to work for Albrecht Trucking in Medina. He enjoyed his job and felt like part of the Albrecht Family. Steve retired in Oct. of 1999. After retirement he spent his time helping on a grain farm, in the tractor he found his true passion, he continued to farm until 2012, when his health problems forced him to retire from farming as well. Steve enjoyed escaping cold Ohio winters in sunny FL. He lived at Pioneer Creek RV Park and enjoyed the company of his many friends. He loved to cook for other park residents and enjoyed keeping up with park gossip. Thursday morning breakfast with the boys was his winter highlight. Summers in Ohio would include catching up with his family, lots of NASCAR and watching his granddaughter grow. He was preceded in death by his wife of 27 years Betty Anderson- she was killed in a car accident on Nov. 18, 2004-he lived 10 years and 2 days without her, and missed her every day. Steve is survived by his daughter Dori Adams, Son in law Aaron, and granddaughter Delany. He will be missed. Per his wishes there will be no services at this time. Friends and famlily should plan for a summer bonfire and cook-out to celebrate his life.
