Sterling E. "Bubby" Burton (39) of Willard died sudden and unexpected on Thursday, October 21, 2021.  He was born July 12, 1982 in Norwalk.  Sterling enjoyed being outdoors where he could be found fishing and hunting but spending time with his family was always special as well as making people laugh.  His life was cut short and will be truly missed by many.

Sterling is survived by his mother: Stella (Kimberlin) Kilgore, 2 children: Shyanne and Kaillynn Burton of Shelby, siblings: Dustin Burton, Austin Burton, Douglas Kilgore, Nicholas Kilgore, Apryl Kilgore and Rachel Patrick and his girl friend of two years: Maranda Hale of Willard as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father Rex Kilgore and niece: Madyson Burton.
