Steve Sallee, 65, of Greenwich, passed at home on October 6, 2022 after a lengthy illness with his family at his bedside. He was born on February 15, 1957 in Willard to the late Eugene and Helen (nee Light) Sallee.

A 1975 graduate of South Central High School, Steve proudly joined the United States Navy and served aboard the USS Piedmont. Steve was a talented metal fabricator who worked for Janotta & Herner. He enjoyed spending his free time designing and fabricating interior and exterior handrails for friends. Steve was a member and school teacher at Deliverance Tabernacle.

Steve is survived by his wife, Brenda (nee Ricer) Sallee; children, Josh Francis, Aaron (Heather) Sallee, Janelle (Virgil) Giles, and Brandon (Lauren) Sallee; grandchildren, Ashlie, Alyssa, Kiersten, Brinley, Walker, Lauren, Isaac, and Kaius; great-grandson, Benson; and brothers, Robert Sallee of Tulsa, OK, Brian Sallee of Ada, and Wes Sallee of Greenwich.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his stepfather, Marlin Wilson and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Donald and Oma Ricer.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 22 at 1 p.m. at the Deliverance Tabernacle, 4717 Prospect Road, New London.
