Steven Eric Sheller, age 57, of Kenly, North Carolina and formerly of Greenwich, died Sunday, July 24, 2011 from a construction accident in Bailey, N.C. He was born June 4, 1954 in Lima, Ohio. Steven was a graduate of South Central High School. He had lived in North Carolina since 1985. He was a construction foreman. Steven enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and life. He is survived by his best friend and wife of 29 years, Kathy (Smith) Sheller; his daughters, Tassandra (Andy) Jarrett of Monroeville and Krista Sheller of Cleveland, Ohio; 4 grandsons and 1 granddaughter; his mother, Bettie Sheller of Greenwich; his siblings, Gerald (Joann) Sheller of Norwalk, Diedra Benschoter of Greenwich and Vickie (Kevin) Urich of Fitchville several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Sheller, his sister, Kendra Teglovic and his infant brother, Jodiah Sheller. Friends may call from 5 ' 8 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2011 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St., Greenwich where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday with his lifelong friend, Sam Kline officiating. Burial will follow at Edwards Grove Cemetery, Greenwich. In Steven's honor dress comfortably.
