Steven Wayne Shupp, 52 of New London, Ohio, passed away on February 2, 2022 at Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital. He was born September 6,1969 in Willard, Ohio to Keith and Margo (Seibert) Shupp.

Steven graduated from Willard High School and attended North Central Technical College obtaining an associate degree in criminal justice. He served in the United States Marine Corps reserves. He served his community faithfully and selflessly for many years as a law enforcement officer for various agencies including Milan, New London, Willard, Cedar Point, and Huron County Sheriff's Department. He served as a member of the New London Volunteer Fire Department and Firelands Ambulance Service.

A Christian by faith he attended the New London Alliance Church. Steven currently served as Worshipful Master of the Norwalk Masonic Lodge. Steven enjoyed genealogy, woodworking, coin collecting, going to auctions, and riding his Harley Davidson. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Steven is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kendra (Bowers) Shupp; children, Steven, Gracyn, and Brayden Shupp; mother and step-father, Margo (Seibert) and Kenneth Barnett; step-mother Margaret Shupp; mother-in-law Margarete Souslin; brother Rodney (Debbie) Shupp of Greenwich; sisters, Holly (Rick) Wier of Tiro, Heidi Shirk of Norwalk, Faith (Brian) Bowman of Shelby; step-brothers, Daniel (Brenda) of Midland, Georgia, and Thomas (Lori) Barnett of Willard; aunts, Debra Hayes of Willard, Judy Shupp of Willard, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Keith Shupp; grandparents, Roy and Dorris Shupp, Kenneth and Betty Seibert; father-in-law, Richard Bowers; brother, Andrew Shirk; brother-in-law, Matthew Heydinger; uncles, Steven Seibert, Wayne Shupp, and Clifton Hayes.

His family will receive guests at the New London Alliance Church, 4625 OH-162, New London, Ohio 44851 on Monday, February 7, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. The Freemasons will perform a service at 11:30 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Grove Street Cemetery in New London, Ohio.
