Steven Douglas Wacker, 46, of Wellington, died Friday, September 9, 2011 at Allen Mercy Hospital in Oberlin. He was born in Elyria on September 9, 1965 to David and Kathy (nee Ross) Wacker. Steven lived most of his life in the Lorain County area and was a 1985 graduate of Elyria High School. Steven liked to work and was employed at Cascade Patterns in Elyria for 24 years. He enjoyed working outside, planting, video games, bicycling, movies, paintballing and woodworking. Most of all Steven loved being at home with his family. Steven is survived by his wife of 19 years of marriage and together for 28 years, Gayle (nee Schnur) Wacker, children Amber, Quentin, and Miranda all of Wellington. He is also survived by his parents David Wacker and Kathy Stanko; a sister, Amy Lucas of Vermilion, and a brother Marcus Wacker of Ashtabula. Steven was preceded in death by two brothers Roger and Rick. Friends and family will be received Friday, September 16, 2011 from 4:00 ' 8:30 at the United Church of Huntington, 26677 State Route 58.
