Stevie R. Hall, 70, passed away at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky on Wednesday, February 17, 2016. Born February 28, 1945 in Floyd Co, KY, to the late Azzie and Myrtle (Hunter) Hall. Stevie served in the Army. He lived in the New London area most of his life. Stevie worked at Smithwick Construction and retired from PolyOne Co where he had worked for over 30 years. Stevie enjoyed hunting, fishing and horseshoes. He liked watching basketball and had also enjoyed playing softball for the "Hallbillies". Family was important and Stevie was always there for his family. Survivors include his children, Stephanie Shepherd of New London, Sherry (Ron) Campana of Amherst, Sandy Chaffee of Ocala, FL, Shannon Hall of New London and Steven (Brooke) Hall of New Castle, PA; grandchildren, Steven Kwiatkowski, Tina Pauley, Amesha Bowen, Johnathan Shepherd, Rachelle Shepherd, Dominique Hall, Phillip Cleavenger, Nurashia Hall, Lautisha Cleavenger, Justin Cleavenger, Lauren Scruggs, Anatalia Hall and Grayson Hall; 7 great grandchildren and siblings, Elmer (Joyce) Hall of Greenwich, Gary (Ursula) Hall of Delaware, Gene (Debbie) Hall of Centerburg, Bill Gallaher of Delaware and Shirley Bibbee of Columbus. Stevie was preceded in death by a brother, Edgel. Visitation Friday, February 19th from 5-8 pm at Eastman Funeral Home, New London where a service will be held Saturday at 11 am. Burial will follow in Grove Street Cemetery, New London. Memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
